An antique 18th Century copper and brass heater bowl known as brasero features an intricate foliage copper body- characterised by a large band top and folded rim with deep bowl-like shape and a fitted solid brass duck style shape handles on each side of the top band. This is a fabulous and functional Spanish copper bowl commonly used for traditional heating to give warmth. It is durable and quality conductible to embers of hot coals. The bowl is watertight and therefore has versatile uses as a decorative piece, fire pit, planting bowl and water feature etc for interior or exterior spaces. Its detailed foliage patterns and rich patina colours adds a touch of character and charm. Overall a good condition copper bowl that can be used both in outdoor and indoor. It has been clean to preserve its age and charm.. Minor wear consistent with its age and usage.
