This commanding antique floor lamp is an exceptional example of Edwardian or Classical style, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The ornate design features a striking combination of materials: bronze-finished metal and decorative marble/onyx.
 
The column consists of two bronze sections accented by geometric elements of solid onyx, displaying elegant cream, brown, and gold patterns. The heavy, square step-style base is equally impressive, uniting a brass platform and a matching marble slab, all dramatically raised on four detailed brass paw feet. The lamp is fully functional and includes an integrated on/off switch, its original UK plug, and a long gold cable. It comes complete with its oversized, cone-shaped lampshade, which is upholstered with fine cream, green, and gold stripes and finished with decorative beads and fringes, perfectly complementing the base colours. Minor brass patina, slight upholstery fading, and wear are present, consistent with its genuine antique age.
